The Feast of Sukkot in northeastern Iowa will be held this year at Sunstream in Ogden, Iowa, from Thursday evening, September 23, until Sunday morning, October 3, 2010.
A typical day with us at this beautiful 211-acre retreat center will include prayer times, Deuteronomy readings, studies, worship and Hebraic dance throughout the day and planned activities for all ages. Fellowship occurs during our congregational mealtimes, our activities together and while we learn something new or old together in study and worship times. Take a family nature hike, or chat by the campfire to make new friends or renew old friendships.
Lodging of all types is available, including RV sites, tent sites, motel-style rooms in the Lodge and individual dorm rooms with bunks for 4-6 people.
Our theme this year is "A New Beginning," and we will be celebrating the renewing of the Hebrew year together in our times together, as well as the renewing of our relationship with Messiah Yeshua our King. Jim Barfield of The Copper Scroll Project will be speaking.
We hope you can join us for a Blessed Sukkot this year!
